TRACK 4 - Fxcked Up

Burger Beatz

Sometimes you need to get fucked up. Sometimes you need to escape, but the world does not allow you to physically leave. Drugs allow you to become someone else. They make you forget what hurts most. At that moment in time, you are fully aware that the drugs are taking away the pain, that it is not real, but you love it anyway. The chorus is a reflection of the consequences.

"Damn I can't breathe,

damn I can't see,

I'm fucked up"

Meaning I am not living life, I am blinded, I'm only living through the drugs. Once you realize that, you can move forward. The 2nd verse is me coming to a realization, shaking the thoughts out of head. Fighting with myself to be who I want to become, and not who I was.

The lyrics page represents the lack of motivation that consumes you. You are content sitting in that same chair, living that same life, hiding from yourself. It depends on your perception of the chair though. Are you resting, or are you done walking all together?

The vocal effects on this track are supposed to create a sense of emptiness. A person alone with their thoughts. Thoughts that they don't want to share, can't share, with anyone else. So they bury them deep, and pretend they don't exist.
